PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that Thomas P. Moran, Walla Walla,
Washington; James R. Moran, Buckeye, Arizona; the W&A
Moran Exempt Family Trust, Ketchikan, Alaska, Thomas P.
Moran and Todd MacManus, Ketchikan, Alaska, trustees (to-
gether, “Notificants”) intend to apply to the Federal Reserve
Board for permission to retain 25% or more of the shares
of, and thereby control, Community Bancshares, Inc., which
controls Community Bank, 609 N. Main St., Joseph, Oregon
97846. The Federal Reserve considers a number of factors in
deciding whether to approve the notice.
The Wallowa County Health Care District Board of Directors
will hold its regular board meeting on Monday, February 26,
2018 at 11:30am in the Conference Room at Wallowa Memo-
rial Hospital.
NOTICE IS GIVEN, the Wallowa County Board of Com-
missioners will be conducting a hearing on Monday, March
5, 2018, beginning at 9:30 a.m., in the Thorton Conference
Room of the Wallowa County Courthouse. This hearing will
be for the discussion on the updating of the 2006 Community
Wildfire Protect Plan. Meetings and hearings are open to the
public. Those interested in attending are encouraged to do
so. For questions, please contact the WALLOWA COUNTY
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OFFICE AT 426-4543, EXT.

of the Wallowa County Chieftain, KWVR or the Administrative
Office at Wallowa Memorial Hospital.
This meeting is open to the public.

San Francisco, California 94120-7702. The comment period
will not end before March 14, 2018 and may be somewhat
longer. The Board’s procedures for processing notices and

dinance provisions which govern this review are Articles 5, 9,
15, 34 and 35 of the Wallowa County Land Development Ordi-
