Members of the Wallowa Valley Chorale rehearse Nov. 26 in preparation for the
group’s annual Christmas concert. The concert is 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at Enter-
prise Christian Church on Joseph Highway. Traditional carols along with other mu-
sic and a sing-along, with refreshments after the free performance. Randy Morgan
is director of the group and Jan Casey is accompanist.

Robin N. Logan
May 11, 1950 –– Nov. 19, 2017
Robin Logan, 67, of Enter-
prise, passed away peacefully
after a long illness Nov. 19,
2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital in
Boise, Idaho. She was born in
Seattle, Wash.
She is survived by her hus-
band, Robert Logan of Enter-
prise, and daughter, Lisa
Butler of Las Vegas, also a
granddaughter Blair Logan of
Renton, Wash.
At the family’s request,
there will be no services. Robin
wished to be cremated.
In lieu of flowers. memo-
rial donations may be sent to
Umpqua Bank in Enterprise to Logan
help with funeral expenses.

Florence Hulse
Florence Hulse, formerly Mae Wart, of Joseph, died at Wal-
lowa Memorial Hospital Nov 22, 2017. She was 86. A memo-
rial is planned in spring and a full obit will follow later. Arrange-
ments by Bollman Funeral Home.
Robert Matthews
Robert Matthews, 64, of Wallowa, died at St Mary’s Hospital
in Walla Walla. A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday,
Dec 2, at the Wallowa Cemetery followed by a potluck gathering
at the Assembly of God Church in Wallowa. A full obit will fol-
low. Arrangements by Bollman Funeral Home.

Christmas is a time of giving and a
new pet is a popular gift for the
family. Sometimes the festivities
with company and so much to do
can be overwhelming for everyone,
including a new pet. If a pet is in
the plans for the holidays,
the Wallowa County Humane
Society suggests giving a gift
package filled with appropriate pet
items. Then after the holidays, the
whole family can choose the right
pet together. The WCHS has many
cats and kittens to choose from
If you find a new friend to adopt,
but will be gone or have company
during Christmas, we will keep it
in foster care, until things return to
normal. Then full attention can be
directed to the new family member.
If you or someone you know, has to give up a pet(s), please contact the Wallowa County Humane Society as soon as possible so that we can
help you find your pet a new home. Unfortunately, we are seeing more instances where pets are being left behind to fend for themselves with no
provisions. Abandonment is a Class C misdemeanor! Please don’t wait until the day before you need to leave to contact the WCHS for help. It takes
time to find a temporary or permanent placement, contact us as soon as you know you must give up your pet(s). We are here to help! 541-263-0336
