O BITUARY Jinni Lee Ann Burns Feb. 9, 1978 –– Oct. 31, 2017 Jinni Lee Ann Burns of Weston, Ore., passed away Oct. 31, 2017, at her home at age 39. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at Weston McEwen High School in Athena, Ore., with Pastor Duane Geyer offi ciating. Jinni was born in Hillsboro, Ore., to Mike and Brenda (Ful- cher) Ainslie. In her younger years, she was active in dance and ballet, in high school she was active in cheerleading and began working at Burger King for a short time then at Hank’s Thriftway in Hillsboro. This led to a career culminating in the position of bookkeeper for Albertson’s in Walla Walla, Wash. She moved to Athena in 2003, where she met and married Tyrel Burns on Aug. 25, 2007. They lived in Klamath Falls, Ore., while Ty attended Oregon Institute of Technology and she began her career with Albertsons. In 2010 they settled in Weston. Jinni was always encouraging and upbeat. In May 2016 she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and after a long and diffi cult battle, she was called to join her Savior. Jinni loved the outdoors, going to the mountains, snowmobiling, boat- Jinni Burns ing and camping at Hat Rock Park. She also loved trips to the beach. She attended Adams Community Church and was active in local Bible study. Jinni touched the lives of everyone she knew as a loving wife, devoted mother and everlasting friend. Even during her battle against cancer, she remained positive and continued to beam as a ray of sunshine. She will be missed by all. She is survived by her husband Tyrel Burns, daughter Hailie Burns, parents Mike and Brenda Ainslie, brother Jason Ainslie, sis- ter-in-law Stacy, mother and father-in-law Tawn and James Burns, nephews Brenden, Kelden and Cheyten, brother Levi Ainslie, sis- ter-in-law Misty, niece Cecilia and nephew Dylan, brother-in-law Austin Burns and nephews Trysten, Bentley and Lane. She was preceded in death by her son Broc Reed Burns and grandfathers Don Ainslie and Charlie Fulcher.
