Ben is a senior at OSU this fall, studying food science and technology and fermen- tation. Ben is still on track to become the next small town beer master. • $1,500 Casey Melville, daughter of Kerry and Kevin Melville. Casey is a freshman at OSU majoring in crop and soil science. She impressed the committee with her farm- ing experience and desire to become an agronomist focus- ing on crop consulting. • $1,000 Sara Aschenbren- ner, daughter of Cindy and Chad, freshman at Walla Walla Community College with dual enrollment at Penn Foster Col- lege studying for her vet tech degree. Boucher-Probert Memorial Scholarships: Clancy Warnock of Imnaha never stops moving, even as he casts a critical eye over his work so far. Warnock won the World Champion Rock Jack building contest at the 2017 Stockgrowers Rodeo. • $1,000 to Brooke Green- shields, daughter of Jeni and Randy Greenshields, entering her second year of vet school at OSU; $1,000 to Callie Miller, daughter of Cheri and Alan Miller, entering her third year at OSU studying animal science with a prevet option. She is still on track to be a large animal vet. Winner of Honorary Cat- tleman of the Year went to John Williams and his wife Eilene. Winners of Cattleman of the Year were actually a cat- tle-family — a big portion of the Warnock family: Charlie and Debi Warnock, Joe and Shari Warnock, and Dan and Cynthia Warnock.
