LEGAL NOTICE
HEARING NOTICE AND INVITATION TO COMMENT
The Oregon Water Resources Department (OWRD) invites
the public to submit written comments and/or attend a rule-
making hearing on proposed rule amendments to the Grande
Ronde Basin Program (Oregon Administrative Rule Chapter
690, Division 508). These rule amendments would extend
reservations of water for future economic development. The
reservation rules, which set aside a quantity of water for stor-
age to meet future needs in the Grande Ronde Basin, are set
to expire on February 7, 2017 unless extended in rule by the
Water Resources Commission.
The hearing will be held in the Cook Memorial Library Com-
munity Meeting Room, 2006 Fourth Street, La Grande, OR
97850, on July 27, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Copies of
the proposed rules are available at

making.aspx by contacting the Rule Coordinator by email at

will hold its regular board meeting on Monday, July 25, 2016
at 11:30am in the Conference Room at Wallowa Memorial
Hospital.

WALLOWA-WHITMAN NATIONAL FOREST
The Cold Canal SBA Sale is located within T.3S, R.45E.,
Section 25. T.3S., R.46E., Sections
25,26,27,28,30,31,32,33,34, and 35. T.3S, R.47E., Sections
25 and 30. T.4S., R.46E., Sections 2,4,5,6,10, and 11.
Willamette Meridian. The Forest Service will receive sealed
bids in public at Wallowa-Whitman National Forest Head-
quarters, David J. Wheeler Building, 1550 Dewey Avenue,
Baker City, OR 97814 at 10:00 AM local time on 08/18/2016
for an estimated volume of 777 CCF of Douglas-fir & West-
ern larch sawtimber, 841 CCF of Lodgepole Pine sawtimber,
and 2902 CCF of White Fir & Other Coniferous Species saw-
timber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addi-
tion, there is within the sale area an estimated volume of 843
CCF of White Fir & Other Coniferous Species grn bio cv that
the bidder agrees to remove at a fixed rate. This is a small
business set-aside sale. If no self-certifying small business
concern makes a valid bid, the Forest Service will readver-
tise this sale without restrictions on bidder size. The Forest
Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Inter-
ested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed
below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information con-
cerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of
bids is available to the public from the Wallowa Mountains
Office, 201 E. 2nd St., Joseph, Or. 97846 or Wallowa-Whit-

will be held for the purpose of electing board director(s) to
the following positions for the Wallowa Soil and Water Con-
servation District:
