Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the
Wallowa County Planning Commission on Tuesday, May
31st at 7:00 p.m. in the Courtroom of the Wallowa County
Courthouse. The agenda for this meeting will include, but is
not limited to, the following items:
Minutes: For the Planning Commission meeting of April 26,
2016.
Courtney CUP#16-05 - Proposal to establish a home based
business in the form of a “bed and breakfast” located at
62728 Hurricane Creek road outside of Joseph. The prop-
erty is owned by William and Linda Courtney and is de-
scribed as Township 2 South, Range 44, Section 35, tax lot
1602, consists of approximately 8.92 acres, and is zoned
Timber Grazing (T/G). The ordinance provisions which gov-
ern this review are Article 5, 9, 16, 34, 35, and 36 of the Wal-
lowa County Land Development Ordinances and any other
applicable goal, regulation or ordinance of Wallowa County
or the State of Oregon.
Southfork Ready Mix CUP#16-06 – Proposal to expand their
existing aggregate site to encompass the whole 235 acre
parcel, however, only that portion west of Trout Creek will be
mined. The property is owned by Lowell Lewis & John Harris
and is described as Township 1 South, Range 44, tax lot
1800, consists of approximately 235 acres, and is zoned Ex-
clusive Farm Use (EFU). The ordinance provisions which
govern this review are Article 5, 9, and 15 of the Wallowa
County Land Development Ordinances and any other appli-
cable goal, regulation or ordinance of Wallowa County or the
State of Oregon.
Point of Connections CUP#16-07 – Proposal to allow trans-
formational housing for parole and probation participants lo-
cated at 83346 Joseph Hwy between Joseph and Enterprise.
The property is owned by Point of Connections and is de-
scribed as Township 2 South, Range 45, Section 19, tax lot
500, consists of approximately 4.8 acres, and is zoned Rural
Residential (R-1). The ordinance provisions which govern
this review are Article 5, 9, and 17 of the Wallowa County
Land Development Ordinances and any other applicable
goal, regulation or ordinance of Wallowa County or the State
of Oregon.
Public Comment and Other Business
The June Planning Commission meeting has been sched-
uled for June 28, 2016.

plications and draft staff reports may be reviewed in the Plan-

1S44E, Wallowa County, Oregon in Plaintiff Stangel Indus-
tries and Machine Shop, an Oregon Partnership, thereby
eliminating an abandoned railroad right of way through said
