Cougars eye another state run By Rob Ruth Wallowa County Chieftain WALLOWA — Cougars football made an impressive comeback last year, compiling a 7-3 won-loss record and reaching the state Tuarter¿ nals, where Wallowa lost to 'ufur For 2015, second-year Head Coach Matt Brockamp has it in mind to build upon last year’s success, and he has good reason to believe this is a realistic e[pectation “We have eight returning First Team All- League players, so we’re going to be better than we were last year, I think,” Brockamp e[plains ” WE HAVE EIGHT RETURNING FIRST TEAM ALL-LEAGUE PLAYERS, SO WE’RE GOING TO BE BETTER THAN WE WERE LAST YEAR, I THINK.
