The City of Joseph hereby gives notice of a public hearing to consider the vacation of a portion of the alley off of Ninth Street, 02S 45E 31AD behind tax lot # 1300. It is estimated that the proposed project will benefit at least eight- een persons, of whom 51% will be low or moderate income. A public hearing will be held by the Wallowa County Board of Commissioners at 10:00 a.m. on September 8, 2015 at the Wallowa County Courthouse, Thornton Room. The purpose of this hearing is for the Board of Commissioners to obtain citizen views and to respond to questions and comments about: Community development and housing needs, espe- cially the needs of low and moderate income persons, as well as other needs in the community that might be assisted with a Community Development Block Grant project; and the proposed project. Written comments are also welcome and must be received by September 4, 2015 at 101 S River Street, Room #202, Enterprise, OR 97828. Both oral and written comments will be considered by the Board of Commissioners in deciding whether to apply. The location of the hearing is accessible to persons with dis- abilities.
