HIGH ACTION DOWN AND DIRTY AND GRAND BRONCS AND BULLS EVENT DRAGS ONE RIDER OUT OF NEAR-RETIREMENT By Kathleen Ellyn Wallowa County Chieftain T he gods favored the bulls and the broncs last Saturday in En- terprise. But that’s how it’s always stacked, and the cowboys and mutton-bust- ers were up for the challenge at the 12th Annual Mountain High Broncs and Bulls Event at the Enterprise Fair Grounds. A nearly-local guy won the 1980 T-Top Corvette from Main Street Motors in Enterprise. It was the biggest prize in Ranch Bronc Riding history, according to organizers, and it came with a wad of cash and a belt buckle be- sides. Brandon Clark, of Keating Valley (outside Baker City), won the car and the bragging rights.
