It’s the Watershed Festival and children can learn some valuable bike safety info at the Bike Rodeo in the parking lot of Community Connection on Friday, June 26th from 1pm to 4pm! Children will need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian to sign a permission slip/waiver. There will be helmet fitting, a bike check including a brake check and air for tires, and a law enforcement officer will talk to kids about the “rules of the road”. There will be several stations to check their skills at riding a bike: an intersection, crosswalk, straight away as well as an obstacle course with jumps if they are able to pass the other stations.
