Bulletin No. EC 653, “Selecting and Preparing
Vegetables for Exhibit” is available at the Extension
Office.
Entries are limited to one display per class, per family,
per garden. If there are 3 entries of a single variety,
they will be judged in a separate class.
Pick market size specimens that are representative of
variety named. Have correct number of specimens for
class. All sections MUST contain 5 specimens unless
other amount specified.
All specimens should be as uniform and alike as pos-
sible: Nearly the same size, the same degree of
ripeness, of similar color.
Enter every class you can, even if your fruit or veg-
etable is not at its peak. Other growers have the same
weather to contend with.
Unless other arrangements are made, any exhibits not
picked up at end of the fair will be disposed of.
Exhibitors may replace land products with fresh ones
any time after judging.

12 inches in length from head to base of sheaf, with base
even and 2 inches across at butt where they will be mea-

qualification.
All exhibits must have been grown by the exhibitor in
Divisions 2 and 3.
All exhibits must have been arranged by exhibitor in
Division 1. Help from others, in any manner, will dis-
qualify the entry.
Artificial flowers and dried material only in proper cate-
gories.
