Rich Rautenstrauch/Chieftain The Wallowa County Sheriff’s Office along with OSP and emergency medical personnel responded to a report of a suicidal female subject on the bank of Wallowa Lake Friday afternoon, April 3. The subject, who could not swim, skirted the edge of the water with police in pursuit, talking to her. She had two knives.
