Preparation of the wild game and salmon meal will be led by veterans Tom Swan- son, French-trained chef, and Joe McCormack who will be grilling the salmon. They in- vite area veterans to join their cooking team to help prepare the meal, April 24-25. A free ticket with that spon- sorship will allow the support- er to give it as a gift to that vet- eran or use it personally. It seems as though the bigger the issue is, the more useless the pol- iticians are for dealing with it. Global warming is such an issue. The military gets it, the insurance companies get it, NASA gets it, the tweety-birds in their mi- grations get it, but not the politicians. Leadership will have to come from else- where.
