Idaho staged a late game surge,
but could not overtake the sharp
shooting Ducks.
Anderson led the scoring with 22
points while forward Chuck Frank
lin added 21. Forward Jerry Ross
scored 18, all In the first half,, and
forward Bill Moore had 15.

in the third quarter, trailing 47-41
at the start of the final chapter.

Kym. The varsity coasted to an
easy 37 to 12 triumph, while the
junior varsity cruised In with a
19-5 victory.

shot .368 (25 for 68), while Albany
fired .385 ( 20 for 52). The Bruins
almost lost the game at the foul
stripe where they only converted
seven of 15 chances, while the
Bulldogs were dropping 15 of 23.
Don McConnell sank seven of 10
tries for 16 points and game
honors. Olsen topped Bend with 15,
while Lenaburg and Bonsell each
had 14. Lenaburg turned in a ter
rific floor game and defensive job,
besides rebounding well.
Bend travels to Lebanon tonight.
A win will elevate the Bruins into
a first place tie with South Snlem
which squeaked by Sweet Home,
51-48, last night.

starters hitting double figures,
Redmond kept its district record
unblemished by walloping Lake-
view, 80 to 57 Friday.
The Panthers opened slowly,
only owning a 14-12 first quarter
lead. But they warmed up and
pulled away to a 38-21 halftime
lead. Reserves handled much of
the second half action, and were
ihead 62-38 at the start of the
last period.
Guard Joe Peterson tanked 20
points, Spike Durfce and Dennis
Nordman each added IJ, Larl
Schult tossed in 12, and Darrel
Woolhiscr had 10. Scoring honor;
for the game, however, went to
