UCLA, ranked No. 5, is the week's most lopsided- favorite at 35 points over California. Mich igan State, No. 6, is only a three- point choice over .Wisconsin both battle to stay on Michigan's heels in the Big Ten race. Auburn, No. 8, is rated 13 points over Tulane in its drive toward its first Southeastern Conference crown.
