In Store Displays
Shopping around for ideas toj
freshen up a room (his fall?
Well, there's a wealth of help at
hand, both for the lady who knows
what she wants and the gal who
:sn t quite sure. In the first place,
you'll note a much greater em
phasis and wider selection of fine
ly designed medium-priced home
furnishings.
There is so much good looking
furniture from which to choose
that it would be difficult to make
a mistake. Ideas served up in
newspapers, magazines and model
room-settings, in stores can broad
en our own horizons. Although men
are apt (o rib us a good deal about
eur shopping expeditions, a trip to
see model rooms in stores is al
most as educational in its way as
a trip to a museum. I
Trup, some model rooms look I
dlscouagingly perfect. But skilled
decorators pack ideas for new win-!
dow treatments, picture group-!
iligs, lamp placement, accessory
accents and color schemes intol
their carefully arranged furniture
displays.
