Mushrooms and deviled ham, tomato sauce and bread crumbs go into it as well salad, Melba, as lima beans and corn. There fore, it is really a luncheon dish or a main dish for a light dinner.! Zesty Succotash ! (iid: 6 servings) Two cups shelled fresh, lima beans, or 12-ounce package quick frozen limas, 2 cups cut fresh corn, or 10-ounee package quicic frozen corn, 8-ounce can tomato sauce. 2Vi-ounce can deviled ham, 3 tablespoons minced onion, 1 tea spoon salt, k teaspoon marjoram. 3-ounce can sliced broiled mush rooms, 3 tablespoons dry bread crumbs, 1 tablespoon butter or margarine. Cook fresh or frozen vegetables in small amount salted water un til barely tender. Place drained vegetables in greased baking dish, I BxlO-inches, mixing well. Blend tomato sauce and deviled ham to gether. Stir in minced onion, sail and marjoram. Stir sauce mixture into vegetables. Drain mushrooms,! fciving broth for future use in pravy or sauce, and arrange oven the vegetables. Sprinkle lightly; with the crumbs and dot with i butter or margarine. Bake in mod crate-' oven (350 degrees F.) until mixture is heHted through and! crumbs are lightly browned, about I 15 minutes. IViu-li M.-llm 1 Select ripe peaches and peel by blanching.
