To Use of Lamps on Floors

My wife, like a lot of women,
takes a fiendish delight in moving
the furniture every few days.
One early morning, I sneaked
In, shed my shoes, unfrocked and
made a neat little dive Into my
half of the twin bed set. 1 landed
on the floor, woke up everybody,
and caught you know what. Ver
onica had moved the bed. ,
1 thought I had the situation
settled when We moved into a
place where most of the lighting
. is built into the walls. In short,
It didn't make any sense to move
my easy chair awav from the
light. Likewise, the beds with
reading lamps built in.
But now what hannens?
. The lamp people say that the
irenu in lighting lor 1932 and
1953 and so on is back toward
floor lampB that can be picked up
and plugged in anyplace in the
house, Just like old times.

those dark corners."
