Mr. Ruble had . been ailing for. many months. Ills, sister, Katie, .cared for him during his illness. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Clark w.ent to Vancouver over the week end. Mrs. Clark planned to attend a religious education summer sett slon at Iewls and Clark-college. Miss Barbara Clark planned to stay with Mrs; Fred; Hodecker this week while her mother was out of town. Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Fred Roberts of Prineville were dinner euests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Abegg and Mrs. Mauae i.ogan. Mr. and Mrs. fieoree Abe?e made a trip to Portland Monday to consult Mrs. Abegg's physician. Warren Vance was taken to the St. Charles hospital in Bend Sat urday. He expects to be home within the next lew days. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Cork were honored at a potluck picnic Saturday, at the home of Mrs. Charles Swendig. The Coiks are moving to uresnam. Dr. G. Henry Green, executive secretary of the Synod of 'Ore gon, was guest speaker Sunday morning at the Community Pres byterian church during the ab sence of Rev. Bob Williams, who is oft vacation.
