Powderhouse district of the Ocho
co national forest on- an oral bid
oi SSI per 1,000 leet, an all-time
record high price was Bcored. . It
topped by $2.75, the $47.25 which
was bid at an early May auction
by the Pine Products corporation
for around 40,000,000 feet. The
runner-up In the Monday after
noon auction was the Grizzly
Lumber Co. The high price is at
tributed largely' to the fact that
there will be no expense in the
way of building access roads to
the timber, located about 36 miles
east of here, -
