Mr. and Mrs. Archie Masterson made a trip to The Dalles Sun day. Recent visitors at the Archie Powell home were Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Hanson, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Broady of Redmond, Mrs. Ernest Bennett, bisters, and Mrs. J. Jewel. The Powells are leav ing Tuesday for the valley and will he in Salem and Eugene. Mrs. Tressa Kessenbeck, Bend, and Mr. and Mrs. John Hopper went to Prineville Sunday and were dinner guests of the Roscoe Hoppers. The Carroll Lawrences were given a house warming by friends Sunday evening. Ul'i Members of the Braget clan, settled throughout Olympia, Tacoma and Seattle, will be helding their breaths Jan. 27, 1963. Every 13 years one member of their clan is overtaken by death. The first recorded periodic death was that of Maurice Braget, 21, who was killed in an accident Jan. 27, 1924. Thirteen years . later, on Jan. 27, 1937, Ole O. Braget, 83, fath er of Maurice, dropped deari. After another 13 years, on Jan. 27, 1950, Maurice's mother, Ma- thea Braget, 88, died of yellow jaundice.
