Pleasanf Ridge Hall Board
Will Meet, Name Directors
Pleasant Ridge, March 30 (Spe
cial) Pleasant Ridge hall board
will meet Saturday nt 8:30 p.m.
at the hall for their annual di
rectors election. The women are
being asked to bring pie for a
social.
On April 6 the Pleasant Ridge
birthday club will meet at the
home of Mrs. Ed Olson at Red
mond. On April J3, the Deschutea
Pleasant Ridge home extension
' unit will meet at the home of
Mrs. Gordon Wilcox for a noon
luncheon.
Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Carboden
and infant son, James Paul, who
was born Wednesday, Marcn a
nt St. Charles hospital, . were
brought to the Paul liamouen
home Sunday, where they will re
main a few days before going to
their home in Redmond. Grand
parents are Mr. and Mrs. James
T. Lamb and Mr. and Mrs. Paul
Carboden of Pleasant Ridge.
Saturday evening, Mr. and Mrs.
Ted Povey, Ole Hansen, Mr. and
Mrs. F. H. Cottrell and Bob Reed
were guests at the Mikkelsen
home. The group played pinochle.
The Oswald Hansons were vis
itors at the Archie Masterson
home Thursday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Hanson
attended a party at the Kenneth
Ferguson home at Redmond Fri
day evening.
Mrs. Horace McKee was a vis
itor of Mrs. H. E. Roberts at
Redmond Saturday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Miller and
Kern were dinner guests Sunday
of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole
Hanson. .
Carl Petersen returned to Cor
vallis Monday. He is a student
at Oregon State college.

play, "Spring Fever," given last
Friday evening at Westminster
hall at Redmond.

meeting of H.E.C. grange women
at the home of Mrs. T. H. Moody
last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cook and
daughter, Judy, were dinner
guests of the Rasmus Fetersens
Friday.

vallis Monday, after visitine with
his parents and other relatives.

and neighbors Monday evening.

versary Sunday. Dinner guests

day afternoon of the ladies' aux
iliary of the V.F.W. Plans were
completed for serving lunch at
the hardtime dance given Satur
day night by the Sisters post of
the V.F.W.
The Echoing Pines Bluebird;
met at the home of their leader,
Mrs. Deloris Dickerson, fgr their
regular session. Since the girls
have found making plaster of
par'iu plaques so interesting they
are exchanging molds In order to
carry on this work The meeting
this week will have Mrs. Beryl
Brandsma as assistant leader.
The Timber Protectors, 4-H for
estry group, met at the home of
Don Reinecker Thursday evening.
The boys made plans for a com
bined hike and wiener roast for
their next meeting, April 6. Bill
Bembry was taken into the group
as a new member.
Recent visitors at the George
Low home, were Mr. and Mrs.
Farley Elliott and Mr. and Mrs.
St. John, of Bend; Miss Edna Mc-
Curdy and Skip Freeman, of Mer
rill, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Pais
ley and son of corvallis. Week
end guests were their son and
daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Bain Low of Corvallis.
