A. Milbrath, plant pathologist from O.S.C., is to be the speaker, will be held on March 22, at 8 p.m. in Red. mond. it was announcer! hv Bin ! Davidson, association executive secretary, tuilnv. The date was changed because Dr. Milbrath could not be present March 24. Primary purpose of the meet ing will be to nominate commit teemen and alternates, one each from Deschutes and Jefferson counties, to serve on the PMA committe for this district of the marketing area. Wesley Baker, of Red. mond, has been named Deschutes county campaign chairman for the American Cancer society's 1950 fund-raising effort, it was announced today. He will name committees later. Mrs. Jess Tetherow has been named commander for the Red mond area, succeeding Mrs. Ken. neth Munkres, who resigned. Mrs. Craig Coyner is commander for Bend. Mrs. Clara Siegley, Portland, field representative for the so ciety's education program, and Mrs. Ernest Sieloff, Burns, dis. met commander, are expected to be in central Oregon late this month to assist in launching the fund drive..
