He disclosed that the Joint chiefs of staff had agreed unani mously on a plant to meet any such sneak attack with an ail force counter-attack. "Our first attack will be a coun ter-attack," the defense secretary said. "It will be an air job and In It the primary role will belonp to the air force. We must be pre pared to hold the line for a time and most likely a long time un til we expand our forces and mobilize our industry." Redmond Scouts Conduct Meeting Redmond, Dec. 7 Four pa trols of 22 Scouts mer Monday evening at the fair grounds, un der the direction of the scout mas ter, Bob Maxwell. Regular meet ings have been changed from Thursday to Monday in order to accommodate scout leaders, i Jerry and Larry Stuwell, in full Scout uniform, presented the colors am. while Brad Hallook recited the allegiance to the flag each boy stepped forward and Jaiuieu. Aft?r the colors were posted, patrols met in separate groups, then reassembled for a demon stration of artificial respiration. Kenneth Deiterman's patrol won the demonstration contest. Scoutmaster Maxweil told the boys about a plan for collecting old license plates as a money rais ing project. He also told the boys about the national Boy Scout meeting, which will be held In luly at Valley Forge. The boys spent the remainder of the eve ning cleaning the building which is lent to them for meetings.
