Redmond Jaycees Present Play By Virginia I-ce Kallock Redmond. Nov. 4 The Red mond Junior chamber of com merce presented the first night of its home talent play. "Laff It Off." Wednesday at the John Tuck grade school auditorium. The play, built around a jiewspaper theme, opened with an introduc tion bv Darlene Fields as a paper girl. She was joined by five oth- er girls, Ellen Stacy, Hazel JSd-! wards. Yvonne Poulton. Verfenej Winkel and Donna Millikin. who executed a song and dance rou tine. The play itself depicted the news stories and characters in a typical newspaper which was be ing read by an average family, played by Mr. and Mis. Kenneth Munkres as the father, and moth er and Ronny Munkres and Nancy Hartman as their two youngsters. The first scene depicted the bed time stories. Mrs. Wesley Baker led six boys and six girls in a number of songs including "What Cousin Kate Says." and "The Farmer in the Dell." A dance routine by a group of pert cheer leaders followed the reading of the sports section. The girls in this routine were: Ellen Stacy, Delpha Charlesworth, li ma Galbraith, Sharon Moran. Pauline Poulton and June Scofield. The society page brought forth a mock wedding performed in poetry and rhythm. This was a In Your Time of Need!
