U. Lake of Boring, Ore.; her grand mother, Mrs. Sarah Frank of Portland, and her great uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. George Frank of Son Diego; Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Dodd on Sun day were Mrs. Dodd's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lew Metke of Camp Sherman; her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Blann of Bend, and her brother and fam ily, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Metke and son, Mike, of Seattle. Michael Coglanlese returned last Tuesday from Albion, Ida., where he had visited his wife and daughter, Kathleen, and infant son, Robert Dennis. Robert Den nis was born Tuesday, October 4, at the Cottage hospital in Bur Icy, Ida., and weighed 6 pounds 14 ounces. Coglaniese is the sev enth grade teacher here. Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Denton and Bob Turner, of Portland, spent the week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Turner: Mrs. Denton -is Turner's sister, and Bob Turner his brother. The Sisters Rebekah lodge held their regular meeting last Wed nesday night. After the business meeting a contest was held, in which the lodge members wrote one of the lodge odes from mem ory. Mrs. Bob Turner won the prize for having the ode most nearly perfect. The next meeting will be held October 26, at the lodge hall. The Three Links club meeting will follow the lodge meeting and refreshments will be served. Mrs. Bob Dodd entertained with a birthday party last Friday eve ning at her home, for her daugh ter, Tishi, who was five years old. The children enjoyed sing ing, and refreshments of birth day cake and ice cream. After the opening of the gifts, all Tishi's guests were taken to a I jw. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Livesay of Portland visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Edgington last week end.
