Pal Club Group To Visit Bend Portland's PAL club today. started on an Oregon tour that will bring the. group to Bend on July 25, for an evening appear ance on Bruin field under spon sorship of the Moose. Micky Pease's young, athletes, ranging from 6 to 21 years, are making the tour in their own bus, putting on a boxing, wrestling, and tumbl ing show. Purpose of the tour Is partly to give the boys a vacation and to instill In each community a sense of responsibility lor its youths," Pease said. As a result of a tour made two years ago, The Dalles has organ ized its own PAL club. There has been some discussion of oreani zation in Bend of a similar unit. There will be no admission to the evening show on Bruin field. but a collection will be taken, to assist in defraying expenses of the Portland young people on their Oregon tour. Bend Golfers Win Team Match From Klamath Bend golfers Sunday, avenged an earlier defeat at the hands of Klamath Kalis by taking the visiting divoters Into camp over the local course by a score of 58 to 43 Vj. A large delegation of Klamath golfers came to Bend .Saturday, and were guests at an open house party held at the club Saturday evening.
