Redmond, will take part. The jamboree will be at 7:30, on the Bend municipal diamond, The Bend municipal band and the Eagles' drum and bugle corps will be on hand tor the opening ceremonies, and there will be brief talks by city and league of f lcials. When play is launched, all six teams will see action, in three inning games. Scheduled play will get under way Monday. No Admission Charge There will be no admission charge to the jamboree tonight, Donated by Bend merchants, prizes will be awarded to specta tors as well as players. Rain at Los Angeles and Port land kept half the teams idle, but the Stars and Padres continued their merry winning ways at the expense of the Seattle Rainiers and the San Francisco Seals. The leaeue-leadlnc Stars blank ed the Rainiers 4-0 and the Padres displayed enough power to subdue the bay city team o-J. For "the third successive night the Los Angeles Angels and the Sacramento Solons got a vacation because of rain, and the weather man also forced postponement of the contest betwene Oakland and Portland. . Schallock Wins Again Little Art Schallock of Holly wood set the Rainiers down with six hits as he won his sixth for the year against a single loss. Lefty Jack McCall, the Rainiers' new hurler, lost his first start by giving up seven hits in six inn ings. His relief, Les Oppliger, pitched three innings of hitless ball in the losing cause. San Diego got five runs in the first six innings before the Seals were able to score. One of the Padre runs was Luke Easters 14th home run of the season. The Seals came back with three runs, but were not able to hit Xavier, Rescigno hard enough reaaly to get back In the ball game. "Mister X" gave up only five hits in win ning number five for the season. In the opening inning the Pad res, scored twice off Elmer Single ton, who brought a string of 19 scoreless innings into the contest.
