To Install Officers Plans for the affair will be completed at a meeting Wednes day at 7:30 p. m. in the Pilot Butte inn sunroom, when new officers will be Installed. ' J: iiiiiiiimmiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiKiiHtimiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Miss Duncan Wears White For Wedding Miss Mary Dolores Duncan be came the bride of Harrison Stew art Jr., in a ceremony Thursday at 8 p. m. at the home of the bride's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Duncan, 935 Greenwood. Rev. Allan B. Philp, of First Presbyterian church, of ficiated in a floral setting. The bride is the daugnter of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Duncan, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Stewart Sr. Cloyd Duncan gave his sister in marriage. She wore a gown of white satin with lace-trimmed fingertip veil of net She carried a white prayer book with white iris and satin streamers. Miss Ruth Duncan, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a gown of aqua and her corsage was of pink carnations. Edgar Harvey, bother-in-laW of the bridegroom, acted as best man. The bride's mother was .attired in navy blue, and the bride groom's mother wore a black suit. Both had corsages of pink carnations. After the ceremony, a recep tion was held. The bridal couple cut the first piece of wedding cake. Mrs. Kenneth Duncan and Miss Josephine Stewart poured. Mrs. L. C. DeWltt cut the wed ding cake, and Mrs. Lester Dunc an was in charge of the guest book. Present at the wedding and re ception were about 40 relatives and friends of the couple. Mr. and Mrs. Stewart left on a . honeymoon trip to Portland and coast points. They will be at home after Sunday on East Irv ing avenue. Bend WCTU will have a regular meeting Friday at 2 p.m. at the home of the president, Mrs. Wal ter Daum, 654 East Kerney. Mrs. Charles Lntrikin will be in charge of tne program, which will feature a speaking contest on temperance, with pupils of the Seventh Day Adventist school, under direction of Mrs. Nora Harbison, participat ing. A similar speaking contest Will also be held Wednesday at i p.m. at the home ol Mis. i-i. is. Meeker, 1537 East Fourth street. Burns Women Golf Guests Bend women won all their matches at the local golf club Sunday, when they entertained a group of women from Bums. The pairings were as follows, with the victor listed first in each case: Mrs. William Naylor and Mrs. Frank ' Huffman, Mrs. George Thompson and Mrs. Pete Wyss, Mrs. J. S. Grahlman and Mrs. A. Morgan, Mrs. A. H. Marshall and Mrs. Frank McQueen, Mrs. Don Williams and Mrs. Harold Olson, and Mrs. Ralph Adams and Mrs. Craddock. . In the opening day flag tourna ment last Friday, Mrs. parley El liott was winner in the handicap class, and Mrs. John Janzik for beginners. Qualifying play for the spring handicap tournament will start this Friday. Mrs. W. L. Stollmack is chairman of the luncheon com mittee, which also includes Mrs. E. E. Hughes, Mrs. Ward Coble, Mrs. W.
