Rev. Len B. Fishback, of First Christian church, performed the double-ring ceremony at 11 a.m. at his home. The wedding vows were taken before the fireplace. The bride was lovely in a gown of white satin. Her veil was of il lusion lace, fingertip length, caught into a crown of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white China lilies. Miss Donna Chesterfield was her sister's maid of honor, and Miss Dorothy Warren, of Bend, and Miss Doris Anderson, of Oro fino, were bridesmaids. The at tendants wore matching gowns of blue taffeta, with corsages of pink carnations. Calvin Davis, of Moscow, Ida., was best man. For her daughter's "wedding Mrs. Bonner wore . a grey suit 'with black accessories and a cor sage of pink carnations. -Mrs. Clara Wright, the bride's grand mother, wore a dress of black crepe with matching accessories and a corsage of pink and white carnations. Leave on Honeymoon The bride, who was graduated from' Northern Idaho College of Education, at Lewislon, is teach ing at present in the first grade at Marshall school. Simmons, who served three years in the army in world war II, attended the University of Idaho at Mos cow, before coming to Bend. Following the ceremony, the couple left for a brief honeymoon. For traveling, . Mrs. Simmons chose a two-tone brown suit with dark brown accessories. She wore a corsage of roses from her bridal bouquet. The meeting was in the form of. a sacrificial dinner for overseas relief, and a collection of $34 was received for this purpose. . Mrs. A. B. Lingerfelt, a guest at the meeting, showed colored slides of Oregon scenery, as a fea ture of the program. Mrs. C. W. Darnell led the devotions. The committee in charge of the dinner included Mrs. E. Pro ceeds from the sale of the boxes went to the club's welfare fund, for such projects as aid to chil dren at the Corvallis Farm home, and the club's annual contribution to Boys' Town, Nebraska. The program, which opened with group singing of Irish songs, was arranged by Mrs. Paul Grif fith and Mrs. Earl Dexter. Skits included "Scene at a Ticket Of fice," by Mr. and Mrs. W. It. Penhollows Are Guests nt Dinner North Redmond, March 17 (Special) -Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Naff entertained at a dinner party Monday evening, honoring Kev. and Mrs. D. L. Penhollow on the occasion of their fifteenth wed ding anniversary. Twelve people were present, including the Pen hollow family, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Burgess and the Naffs.
