Hamilton ad mitted today he has received an offer to become athletic director at the University of Pittsburgh. Hamilton, who is now director of athletics at the naval acad emy, indicated he will not make up his mind until after tomor row's game with Army. Georgia Favored Georgia, beaten by North Caro lina, but undefeated in south eastern conference play, was a seven-point favorite over Georgia Tech to sweep the league crown and the resultant New Year's day invitation probably frorn the Su gar bowl. High-flying North Carolina, tied by William and Mary, rated a 27 point spread Over Virginia and would like to do at least that well to maintain its bowl pres tige -7- probably for the Cotton bowl although the Tar Heels may show up at New Orleans.
