"Three for the Money," is no
longer available on the west
coast through Mutual-Don Lee,
but lor the benefit of many who
have followed tne snow, here are
the three mystery tunes: The
first' Is "Adair," the second is
"Sue," and the final tune Is titled
"Aura tee," and those are the
three so-called musical sweet
hearts. , . ,
Saturday at 2:00 p. m. "North
west News", will be broadcast At
2 slO, . "Central Oregon News,"
and at 2:15, the broadcast of the
Stanford-Oregon'' football game
from Palo Alto, calif. The Satur
day afternoon show, "Take a
Number," will be aired Immedi
ately following the game. Frank
Hemingway and the news will be
heard at 6:00 p. m. Saturday eve
nine.
Another adventure with
"Straight Arrow" tonight at 8:00.
Effective Sunday,, network, pro
grams move ahead one' hour, with
Glenn Hardy and the morning
news, for example, at 9:00 a. m.
KBND will sign on at 7:00 a. m.
Sundays, and the broadcast day
will end at 10:30 p. m. , ,

Children in the fifth erade are
at the Ideal age to begin to play
musical instruments, Don P.
Pence, school music superintend
ent, said today in outlining plans

the grade schools this year.
All children who completed the
fourth grade In Bend have had.

tion with tonettes, he said, and
those in the fifth grade now
should acquire instruments and
start work on the instruments of
their choice, if they plan to avail
themselves of the music instruc

Pence said that if persons who
have good usable instruments to
