Claims Water Mixture
Conserves Gasoline
Savannah. Ga. (IB G. O. Grif
fin doesn't claim to have any
magic formula. But he says he is
saving money on his gasoline bill
through a simple chemical inno
vation. Griffin has worked out a device
which, when attached to his car,
mixes water with gasoline vapor
before the vapor is drawn into
the cylinders. He says it has sav
ed him up to 50 per cent on gaso
line bills, makes his motor run
smoother, almost eliminates the
formation of carbon deposits, and
increases the all-around efficiency
of his motor. . .
Griffin patented the invention
in 1936. He hopes to have it on
the market some day. He is 73
years old. .
