A dance, planned for Saturday

Star RranRC, and a pinochle party,
slated for Friday, February 7,

events which will benefit the
March of Dimes campaign.
The dance, which will be held
at the grange hall, was planned at
a recent grange meeting. Mrs. Del
Malison is community chairman

meeting in the absence- of the
master. Homer Brown. Mrs. O.
M. Oiausen gave the annual re
port of the home economics club
and the secretary's report. The
treasurer's report was submitted

Walter Prichard read the lectur
er's report. It was announced that
the first and second degree teams
will be in charge of the prORram
for the next meeting, to be held
Tuesday, January 28. Mrs. Wilson

Mrs. Lyle Carrington and John
Stenkamp comprised the hospital
ity committee for the evening.
Plans for the pinochle party
were made at a club meeting last
week at the home of Mrs. Pete
Klobas, when the 12 members pre
sent 'Wedded to have the party at
the Eastern Star grange hall for
the benefit of the polio fund. Miss
Lola Mae Franks was a guest at
the meeting.
Mrs. John Franks will he host
ess to the unit when Its next regu
lar meeting will be held, on Thurs
day, February 20.
