ment recently received by his par

Known popularly as "Deacon,"
the air fighter has participated in
regular raids over the southern
section of Germany. He had
served on overseas duty since last
Christmas, lie graduated from
the Bend high school in 1941 and
was a Lava Bear basketball
player.
