dent Roosevelt in a conference
with his "big four" congressional
advisers decided today to send a
veto ol the $2,315,200,000 tax bill
to the house tomorrow.
Speaker Sam Ray burn, one' of
the conferees, said he was con
fident the house would not over
ride the chief executive's disap
proval. Rayburn told reporters
that Mr.' Roosevelt planned - to
send a message on the revenue
measure tomorrow, and from
other, source it was learned that
the president told the conferees
the message would be a veto.
By agreement, the house will
not consider any controversial
legislative matters, until Wednes
day because of Washington's
birthday anniversary- However,
it will be in session tomorrovy and
