market today, the U. S. agricul
ture department reported.
Fair quantities of fine wool
from South America were sold at
firm prices. Australian permlnos
were in good demand at steady
prices. Interest In domestic wools
was chiefly In the new clipped
wools being offered for delivery
In July. Offerings of spot domestic
wools were very limited but a few
sales of fine territory wools were
closed at firm to slightly higher
prices.
Ethiopian tradition says that
the Ark of the Covenant was car

by Menelik I. and that it first rest
