with hor jealous mate. Mrs. Hyman
Huntley witnessed hor husband slay
another man In a quarrel of which
she was the innocent cause.
Tho victim was Jesse James (Jihhs.
28. her brother in law. His body was
In the morgue today with 13 knife
wounds in the ahdomen. Huntley.
58. was in jail as a result of the
family quarrel, which occurred Sun
day. After conferring with her minister
over her domestic unhappltie.ss. Mrs
Huntley stole out into the night and
prayed. Her husband followed and
ttphraided her. The commotion awoke
tlibbs. who sought to interfere when
Huntley is said to have struck his
own wife.
In the fight that ensued. Qflbbi was
killed. Mrs. Cihbs and Mrs Huntley
are sisters and Ihe two families lived
together.
Huntley asserted Cihhs had been
paying attentions to Mm. Huntley.

When Ihe ear driven by her son,
Chester, turned over on a rooky em
highway four miles south of Red
mond Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Henry
Carter Hiiffered Injuries whit h may
prove fatal. She is In the St. Chariot
hospital, suffering from a compound
fracture of the skull, a broken ankle
ami other Injuries.
Mrs. Carter'n six year old son,
Krnesi was hrnised and lacerated, hul
he is not helieved to he in a serloim
Condition. The other two occupants
of the ear. Chester Carter. 1H. and

the fact that they had to crawl from
under the heavy machine, hot torn
