MARKET FEWER CATTLE

WASHINGTON, Aug. 21. Slight
reduction in number of cattle mar
keted from the range country this
fall Is predicted In an announcement
by the department of agriculture to
day. About 250,000 fewer cattle
will be marketed this fall as com
pared with last fall, according to the
statement.
The estimated number for market
is 4,077,000 head, compared with
1.322,000 last fall.
WOOL MARKET UNCHANGED

BOSTON, Aug. 21 The wool
market Is Unchanged and trading in
(he local market Is rather spotty.
Mills ore taking small quantities of
fine combing fleece at 54 and 55
cents in the grease. Three eights
combing wools is quoted at 51 to 52
cents In the gretiHO. Ohio delaines
are quoted at 54 to 55 cents. For
eign wools are firm.
