From Klamath Kails, the other
day, came the report that all but one
of the mill owners of that seetion had
joined In a protest to the interstate
commerce commission against grant
ing a certificate of convenience and
necessity to, the Oregon Trunk rail
road for its proposed new line from

Capital Journal, of Salem, that a
resolution had been presented to the :

of transportation in South Central
Oregon."
The Capital Journal urges that the
resolution he voted down on the;
ground that the controversy between
the two railroads is none of Salem's
