HEALTH AND PURE WATER or SICKNESS AND SEWER WATER ?
The Water Company and its ramifications are against the city owning
a pure water supply. They say Tumalo water is uncertain.
It was good enough for Foley last year when he was trying to buy it
for himself. Now that the State of Oregon has released it to Bend, it
suddenly is no good.
All this stuff you have been reading is the bunk.
Are you going to control your own pure water or continue to pay for
sewer water?
The Company income last year was $58,753.83 from water rents. This
will pay off the entire bond issue and not add one cent to taxes.
