Opening number furnished by the Ellison-White Company for
the LYCEUM COURSE presented by the employes of The
Shevlin-llixon and Hrooks-Scanlon mills.
The Temple Choir is primarily a first class mixed quartet, and
will offer a program of wide variety, including difficult classical
selections, and vocal numbers in a lighter vein. Delightful read
ings will be featured.
The Biggest Lyceum Crowd ever assembled in Bend, is the aim
of the Shevlin-Hixon and Brooks-Scanlon mill men. Two dollars
and a half buys an adult season ticket for five numbers; one
dollar a child's season ticket, and 75 cents pays for a single
admission.

FRIDAY NIGHT
AT THE GYM
Service men everywhere are tak
ing a keep interest In the reinstate
ment ol their war risk insurance, was
the declaration of Cliff Wood, rep
resentative of the bureau of war risk
Insurance, who spent yesterday in
Bend adjusting claims and helping
former soldiers, sailors and murines.
Tho fact that reinstatement of poll
cies which have lapsed more than 18
months has only recently been made
possible has stimulated action on the
part of many who hitherto had failed
to realize the value of the govern
ment insurance, Mr. Wood said.
The new ruling provides that the
service man must submit to a full
medical examination, at his own ex
pense If the results are satisfac
tory, ho will be reinstated by the bu
reau. Necessary blanks to be used in ap
plying for reinstatement have been
loft by Mr. Wood with Mrs. V. A.
Forbes, home service secretary of
tho Bend Red Cross chapter.
