lowing petitioners whose names aro
signed to the following petition,
that said petition for the organiza
tion of "The Sisters Irrigation Dis
trict" will be presented to the Hon
orable County Court of Deschutes
County. Oregon, at the County
Court Room in the Court House In
Bend. Oregon, on Thursday, the 2nd
day of September. 1920, at the hour
of 10 o'clock A. M., the same being
at the regular September term of
the County Court of said County.
All persons interested are hereby
notified to be present at said time
and pluce to make objections If
any there be to the allowance of
said Petition and to otherwise con
sider said Petition.
This Notice is published once a
week for four successive weeks In
The Dally Bend Bulletin, the first
publication thereof being on the
4th day of August, 1920, said Dnily
Bend Bulletin being a newspaper
regularly .printed and published in
the City of Bend within said Des
chutes County. Oregon.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE
PRESENTS that the undersigned,
owners qf a majority of all the land
embraced within the boundaries of
the Irrigation District hereby pro
posed, and being also owners of the
land Irrigated by means of water
secured through rights from the
waters of Squaw Creek and its tribu
taries, all within Deschutes County,
Oregon, hereby respectfully petition
the Honorable County Court of Des
chutes County, Oregon, to form an
Irrigation District as hereinafter
more fully set out: and each peti
tioner, for" himself, hereby states
that he is the owner of land Irri
gated, susceptible of irrigation or
for which he holds a valid water
right all within the boundaries here
inafter set forth and described; and
we further declare, each for him
self, that it is our purpose to form
an Irrigation District to provide for
the construction of a system for
the irrigation of said lands herein
after described or to provide for
the betterment, reconstruction, ex
tension, purchase, operation and
maintainance of ditches, canals,
flumes, bead-gates and other works
already constructed or to be here
after constructed, or to assume, If
necessary, as principal or guaran
tors, any indebtedness that may
hereafter be legally Incurred by said
Irrigation District; and your peti
tioners further declare, that it Is
our united purpose to organize an
Irrigation District iirtder the pro
visions of Chapter 357 of the Gen
eral Laws of Oregon for 1917, and
under any other acts or laws
amendatory or supplemental there
to, including Chapter 389 of the
General Laws of Oregon for 1919;
your petitioners further request that
the Irrigation District so to be
formed, be named and designated
The. Sisters Irrigation District and
that the directors to be elected at
the time of the organization of said
district liall be chosen from the
signers of this petition and that
this Honorable Court shall declare
said Irrigation District to compose
one voting precinct and that the
sole and only polling place for said
proposed district shall' be designated
by the County Court at a central
location In said Irrigation District
near the town of 8lsterB.
Your petitioners further show
that In their opinion the cost of
organising this Irrigation District
will bo about Two Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($250.00) uiul thurororo

or convenient to effect the organi
zation of said Irrigation District

law for the organization of Irriga
