The chief precipitation was 'on July 13 and 20. The hottest weather of the year was recorded on July 27 and 28, with 96 degrees on each of these days. There were no frosts, but nights were pleasantly cool, the minimum varying from 36 degrees on the 12th and 22nd, to S3 degrees, the latter mark coming on the 29th. The greatest daily range of temper ature was 55 degrees on the 27th, and the least daily range 13 degrees on the 123th.
