quently a greater benefit to Clover

Preceeding the debate, Mr. Kline
and R. A. Wgrd of Bend, and Fred
N. Wallace, of Tumalo, spoke on the
road situation and the program oat
lined at the recent county meeting
under the auspices of the Bend Com
mercial club. Announcement was
made of a rabbit drive which will be
held beginning at 10 o'clock next
Sunday, starting from the Plninview
school.
R. A. Ward announced a moving I
picture show to be given in Bend on
the, evening of April 15, at the Grand
theatre, In which films furnished by
O. M. Plummer, of the Pacific Inter
national Livestock exposition, show
ing famous' blooded cattle,' and ap
proved methods of handling live
stock, will be thrown on the screen.
All farmers and their families In
Deschutes county are invited, and
seating accommodations for residents
of the county outside of Bend will
be, provided hefore citizens of the
county seat are taken care of.
