HALLOWE'EN DANCE

Individual merit will le made the
basis for the awarding of prizes at
the Hallowe'en dance to be given
Friday night at the Bend Amateur.
Athletic club by the Library club.
As at first planned, awards were to
be made for the best couples, but
this idea has been abandoned in or
der to give each person appearing
in costume, a full chance. The
prizes have also been raised, and as
tbey now stand, will consist of $7.50
for the two best sustained charac
ters, allowing for one man and one
woman. Second prizes will be for
$5 each.
Spectators attending the dance
will be charged at the rate of 25
cents each, regardless of sex.
