Romance connecting North and South. America has come to light through the marriage of Stanley Mnntjoy to Millicent Lee of Albany, N. Y. It appears tha, the young people huve been long engaged, but it was not until recently that Stanley struck It rich in South America, where he and his brother Jim have been working a claim and thus enab- ! lea him to marry the girl of his ! choice. Bob Davis, an old friend of the groom, was best man. Doesn't this suggest the beginning of a good newspaper yarn? Well, It is more than that. It is the partial plot of the new Paramount picture. "Happy, Though Married." in which Enid Bennett will appear at the Lib erty theater tonight. The eighth episode of the "Man of Might," will also be shown. Thomas H. Ince produced "Happy Though Married," and Miss Ben nett's husband, Fred Nlblo, directed the production. The rest of the story takes the spectator through a maze of Jealousy, mystery, humor, sus lienso and final reconciliation. And a book on marriage is a basis of a lot of the trouble. (.RAM). The play is pervaded at all times by the figure of its hero, who docs startling things In a natural and plausible way. Tom Mix, by the way, is one who Is cap able of unusual feats, both when he Is on horseback and when he Is not, but ho always gtvos the impression that they are porfectly reasonable, and the proper things to do. The story of the play hinges about two towns, one of which Is composed of men who have been driven out of their homes because they objocted to the tyranny of a corrupt sheriff.
