which overtake an American army of

R. A. Walsh hns just completed with

This picture, another wonderful pro
duct of Director Walsh's genius, lie-
Kin a a run of two days at the Orand
Theatre tomorrow.
The story tells of a souorita's
dreams of love. Sho begins by prom
ising to niurry one man. Before the
picture is ended, sho has promised to
marry three. Carmelltu that is her
name throws aside Pepo, when she
meets I.eopoldo, a bandit. Then,
when she discovers William Jerome,
an American officer who has come
to Mexico ns a spy In search of tho
ruff inn, sho forsakes Leopoldo. Sho
writes the American) that sho,wlll

note, reverses the plot, and the result
is that Carmellta is shot instead of
Leopoldo.
The finish Is ono of the buttle
scenes for which Director Walsh Is
famous. Everything concludes to the
entire satisfaction of evoryono except
the bold, bad bandit.

An old king is said to have tested
each cook before hiring him by ask
ing him to boil a potato. Even the
best potato can be spoiled by a poor
cook.
To boil them so that they will be
"fit for a king," drop the unpceled
potatoes into boiling salted water and
cook 20 or 30 minutes. Drain the
"water off at once. If they are cooked
too long or allowed to stand in the
water they get soggy.

Bake in a moderate oven until done.
The length of time .required depends
upon whether the potatoes are raw or
boiled and whether the baking dish
used is deep or shallow. Boiled po

take only 20 minutes. Raw potatoes
in a deep dish may take as much as
