The Bend theatre-goers who .at
tended the Liberty Theatre last night
'were certainly given a treat in the
presentation of the Spanish Trouba
dours, who appearing in a revue of
Spanish songa, music and native
dances. .They are a company of
artists worthy of much more than
passing mention., Ot particular note
is Nello Villa, the Spanish Caruso,
'whose singing alone is an evening's
entertainment. He was followed by
"Varda, the Egyptian dancer, in a
'beautiful barefoot dance of the Nile.
'Carlos Haro with his violin, spoke
3n a language that was more univer
sally understood than that of the
Spanish tongue and was more than
"well received, although every num
ber was liberally applauded. Their
artistic work will be long remember

It is announced that they will ap

as well as at the Sunday matinee,

about 40 minutes, is given in addi
tion to the usual run ot pictures.
The picture for tonight is "A Girl's
Folly," in which Robert Warwick and
Doris Kenyon do something entirely
different from anything that any pic
ture actors "have ever done in "A
Gril's Folly." In this newest World
Picture Brady-Made, they take the
parts of motion picture actor3. This
is the first time that a film feature
has been woven about the romance
ot a motion picture studio and the
result is a big success which every
film fan in the entire country will
wish to see. It is a picture that can
be unqualifiedly reco.mmended as be
ing utterly different from the ordi
nary run of pictures and as contain
ing a delightful and thrilling story
which will grip the attention ot all
beholders. x
The Sunday photoplay is one ot the
strongest and most inspiring photo
dramas ever presented to the Para
mount patrons. In it Kathlyn Will
iams appears in the Oliver Morosco
production of Maud E. Corsan's
story, "Out of the Wreck," a story
taken from a page ot real life and
written especially for Miss Williams.
The story is one especTally appealing
to women and children, and might
be entitled "The Memories of the
Forget-Me-N'ots," as ne influence of
this tender flower guides the destiny
of the girl In the picture. "Out of
the Wreck" will be repeated on Mon
day night, but without the Spanish
entertainers, who complete their en
gagement with the Sunday night per
formance. '
Grand Theatre.
This is the' night that all of the
children should see the pictures at
the Grand Theatre. First, there is
the "Modern Mother Goose" picture,
with over a hundred children to make
the picture as i. Mother Goose picture
should be. Then there is Charles
Chaplin in "The Immigrant." Every
one knows Charlie, but there are a
lot or new stunts in this picture that
make it different from the average
comic picture. These two pictures
are also shown Sunday afternoon.
Sunday night there is "The Scar-

read the book will want to see the
film drama. The story Is based on
one of the old New England laws,
which was enacted In Plymouth in
1658. The law says:
"It is enacted by .tho Court and
the Authorities thereof that who
