Sunday, 12:30 to 1:30, and 6 to 7, -SO cents. 20S; AT THE MOVIES Liberty Theatre. Marguerite Clark, who was last seen on the screen of the old Beud Theatre in the Famous Players adap tation of "Snow White," wilt appear at the new Liberty Theatre in the Famous Players adaptation of Molly Elliot Seawell's "The Fortunes, of Fifi," her next paramount Picture, at the Sunday matinee and night and Monday night performances. Marguerite Clark has played al most every conceivable character on the screen from the delightful little "Molly Make Believe" and "Little Lady Eileen," who believed in fairies to "Snow White," who was a sort of fairy princess herself. But during the time that she has been appearing on the screen the Famous Players have never given her the role of an actress until she played Fifi, in "The Fortunes of Fifi," which is the Para mount Picture at the new Liberty Theatre on Sunday matinee and night and Monday night. The story concerns a little French actress and her aims, ambitions, ro mance, near-tragedy and final good fortune. In it Miss Clark does some of the most delightful work of her screen career, playing the actress with a delicate touch that is refresh ing and irresistibly charming. A Pictograph and Bray Cartoon comedy completes the bill. BIDS WANTED. After constructing a gambling den for bis new film drama, "The New York Peacock," In which Valeska Su ratt stars, William Fox stripped New York's White Way of its gambling element to populate the great scene. The gambling den has been called perfect by the professionals who took part in the scene. It was designed after Richard Canfleld's palaces of chance. The fittings alone cost sev eral thousand dollars and were smug gled Into the Fort Lee, N. J., studio from Elkard, Ind. Practically the entire studio floor was taken up by the gambling room setting. Rare tapestries hung on the walls and heavy carpets covered the floor. The gambling outfit included two roulette tables, one hazard table, two faro tables and one crap table. Never had such a collection of gamblers and confidence men ap peared before a camera excepting possibly the "mugging" machine which keeps the rogues' gallory up to date. The elite of the White Light Palaces of Chance were there. Their huge diamond studs and their daz zling rings twinkled In the brightly lighted studios. The gamblers were rounded up by Kenean Duel, director of the film. He believed his actors wore not famil iar with roulette and faro and didn't want any better informed person in the audience which sees "Tho New York Peacock" to 'find the games being played Incorrectly. So a real gambler was put In charge of each table and a few more scattered about the room to give atmosphere. This picture is at the Grand The atre Sunday night and Monday night.
